So. Many. Things. Are. Back. In. Stock.
If you missed this post from July, have a read to see why this shipment feels like it has been a VERY long time coming. But that wasn't the end of it. We did eventually get the shipment out three weeks later, BUT...
It then got stuck in Singapore for three days... meaning it was three days late arriving in Southampton, and three days late to our warehouse in Wales, coinciding precisely with the warehouse team's annual (and VERY well deserved) extended bank holiday. This meant we'd have ONE AFTERNOON to unload the container, unpack the contents (over 2000 items...) and check them into the system.
But they were ready. Our magical A Team had rallied the troops. We had Loz and Max and Sam and George and David and his van and Jimmy and his trailer and Noah and Amber and Pips and Shaz and Trace all waiting to unload at 1pm.
At which point the van driver got delayed by three hours. Meaning they'd only have four hours to complete the uncompletable. Which coincided with the local pub flooding, so we lost Sam and George (...they had to go and save thee day over there).
BUT THEY AREN'T CALLED THE A TEAM FOR NOTHING.
They pulled it out the bag, hoiked-in Dan, Charlie and Luke as back-up, fuelled up on fish and chips, and by 8pm had loaded the warehouse as far as they possibly could.
They're now enjoying their last day of an incredibly well earned break on the Welsh Coast and will be back in the warehouse tomorrow to check in the last bits and send out all of the orders which have come in since last Wednesday.
So until then...
