These Terms
These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you, whether these are goods, services or digital content.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website or submitting an order to us. They tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how both you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information. Please contact us if you require any changes or think there is a mistake in these terms.
By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to comply with them.

If we need to contact you we will do so by telephone or in writing by email using the telephone number or email address provided to us at the point of ordering. We cannot be held responsible if the details that you have provided to us are incorrect.
Our contract with you
If you are purchasing a product online, you will receive an order receipt confirmation email as soon as you have placed an order. At this point a contract will come into existence between you and us. Please keep this email it in a safe place as it will contain your unique order number which may be useful in future correspondence. If you do not receive this email please contact hello@kalinko.com so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This may be for any of the following reasons: because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because of an inability to obtain authorisation for payment, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product, because the item has been withdrawn, or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
Our products
Products may vary slightly from the pictures on our website and/or promotional literature, and as such are for illustrative purposes only. Kalinko takes the utmost care to ensure that product information and colours are accurate, but we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products.
As our products are handmade and sourced from natural sources, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our website may have a slight variation, and minor imperfections or defects which have not been identified by the product description or image may exist. We hope that you understand this and appreciate the skill and craftsmanship required to make high quality products.
All products shown are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.
Delivery
The costs of delivery and options for delivery speed will be as displayed to you on the Shipping and Returns page of our website. Please note that we do not deliver to PO box numbers.
We will aim to deliver the products to you within the time frame specified on the Shipping and Returns page of our website, and in any event, within 28 days after the day on which we accept your order.
We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the products is delayed by events out of our control, and we are aware of these events, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
If nobody is available to take delivery of the products at your address, and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, the delivery company will leave you a note informing you of how to rearrange delivery or collect the products from a local depot.
If, after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect them from a delivery depot, we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection we may end the contract. We are within our rights to do this (please “Our rights to end the contract” below).
A product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address supplied by you.
You own a product once we have received payment in full.
Pricing
Prices exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. It may be necessary to increase or decrease our prices from time to time.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Your payment card will be charged accordingly when your item is dispatched. If you choose to purchase through PayPal you will be charged for your item immediately.
Returns Policy
We hope you will love your Kalinko purchase, but if you are not entirely satisfied, please complete the returns slip at the bottom of the dispatch note enclosed with your purchase. Please return products to us unused, in their original packaging. You will be entitled to a refund or replacement (subject to availability) if returned products and a completed returns slip reach us within 28 days. Please ensure that returns are packed and labelled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit. We suggest you get proof of postage and allow up to 10 working days for your item to be processed.
If you are returning a good because it is faulty, please notify us at hello@kalinko.com within 14 days and return them within 28 days.
We will pay the costs of return if the products are faulty, where we have made an error in pricing or description, or where you have a legal right to do so as a result of something we have done wrong. In all other circumstances you must pay the costs of return.
We will refund you the price you paid for the products including delivery costs, by the method you used for payment. Returns for items purchased through PayPal will be processed 2 working days after receipt of the good.
We reserve the right to make deductions from the price if the value of the goods has been reduced by unacceptable handling whilst in your care, or any reasonable compensation for the net costs we will incur as a result of you breaking the contract.
Kalinko do not give refunds on the following items:
- Items returned after 28 days
- Items without a completed returns slip
- Damaged items not notified to us within 14 days of delivery
- Gift vouchers
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Your rights to end the contract
You are entitled to cancel your contract if you wish providing you act within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.
If you wish to exercise this right prior to dispatch of goods please email hello@kalinko.com. Please provide your name, home address, details of the order, phone number and email address.
If your order has already been dispatched please follow the instructions in our Returns Policy.
Our rights to end the contract
We may end the contract if you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the products to your address, or do not pay any sums due. If we end the contract we will refund any money you have paid in advance for products we have not provided.
Your personal information
We will use the personal information you provide to us for operational purposes, for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries and reviewing past purchases. We may also use it to keep you informed about our products and offers, but you may stop receiving this information at any time by unsubscribing from our emails.
Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information to your requirements. Any successor to Kalinko may use your information on the same basis.
We will only give your personal information to other third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so, or where you have specifically indicated that you allow it.
Liability
Kalinko cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the website. When you place an order to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of an order receipt confirmation email. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in an order receipt confirmation email do not form part of the contract.
We are not liable for business losses. We only supply products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
Kalinko endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However Kalinko does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this website may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this website you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.
Except as expressly stated in these terms, we do not give any representation, warranties or undertakings in relation to any products you purchase under these terms. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these terms by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, we will not be responsible for ensuring that the products are suitable for your purposes.
Changes to our site
We may update our site regularly, and may change the content at any time. Similarly, at times the content on our site may be out of date and we are under no obligation to update it.
