Our candle bowls are directly inspired by the feeling you get at a Burmese pagoda at sunset, where little flames flicker everywhere and the light bounces off the gold leaf of the pagoda. The hammered brass surface of our candle feels old, yet contemporary, and will calmly soothe you when lit. This candle is filled with wax by Koko Soy Organics in Myanmar. When it has finished, we recommend refilling it with a candle refill like this one.

I bought a brass candle holder which arrived quickly and was as advertised and looked attractive, however there was a white sticker on the brass indicating it was the lemongrass candle, which had either been there a long time or was of a type that you couldn't peel off easily. Every time I tried to peel it off a little bit came off and the result was a sticky residue was left on the brass. I had to wash it in soap and water at least three times to try and get the sticky residue removed and even now it isn't completely gone. It's a shame that a small thing like this should spoil a beautiful object.
