Decorative hammered brass bowl

This little jewel of a bowl is handmade from solid brass. It has an antiqued, hammered finish and softly reflects the light. It takes us straight to the soothing environment of the pagodas in Burma, where the sound of brass gongs fills the air, and the light bounces off the gold leaf, particular at the golden hour between 5 and 6 pm. This bowl will bring the golden hour to your home, all around the clock. Pop it on a shelf, in the middle of a table, or on your console. Check out the rest of our brass collection here.

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a damp cloth before drying thoroughly, and rub with brasso if it is looking a bit lacklustre.

    It's different to the photo. I hope it dulls overtime.

    Hi Sam - thank you so much for your feedback. Yes, we did have a recent batch which were a lot shinier than previous batches. They always come up slightly differently, but this one was particularly buffed. It will dull over time though, for sure. And we're going to reshoot them to give customers a choice of finish, so this has been very useful to know. It looks fantastic by the way - we haven't seen it used as a firelighter bowl before...inspired!

    Lovely

    They remind of the bowls the monks carried to collect food. A very peaceful feeling sadly not like Myanmar now.
