This beautiful game is as much about the object as about playing it. The box is made from offcuts of rain wood (by-products of our other wooden items), and the pieces are made from solid, hand-formed brass. They are heavy and satisfying, and non-uniform. You can imagine the maker working away on them as you hold them, the marks of their tools still visible. This is perfectly imperfect, as Christmas should be.

The Burmese take board games very seriously, so we decided we ought to play along too. We hope you love it.
