This photograph was taken on Jens Uwe Parkitny's 14-year long quest for the face-tattooed women of the Chin in the remotest parts of Burma (Myanmar). This life changing journey, which tells an untold story of beauty and belonging, has resulted in one of the world's most beautiful anthropological records.

Materials

Printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo Paper (90% bamboo fibre, 10% cotton).

All prints are produced with a 5 cm white border around them so the picture size of a 35 cm x 35 cm print is 40 cm x 40 cm (incl. the white border) when delivered; you can decide with your framer whether to keep the white border or flush it right up to the frame. Delivered rolled and unframed.
